Chapter 1: page 1 to 4
The story beguns in a messy room on Parking Lane 25. The apartment is owned by Cicilia Warpten. She's looking for a dress. Her boyfriend Shane is waiting in the car. Before she got up he said: "I'll not go with you. I waint here. Ok?" "Why?" asked Cicilia. "Because if I'll go up to your apartment I'll get lost in the mess," he says and lift his eye browns saricrastly. "Hahaha, very funny Shane, you should be a comedian" she sayed. Shane just grins at her.
After a time she finds the dress and changes. She goes down to Shane. He goes out an opens the door for her. "Thanks". "Are you finnished now?" "Yes".
Meanwhile on the other side of the town Kian was messing about with his mates Mark and Nicky. They were playing pool; Kian was wining, and Mark had played so bad he had given up.
"Right Nicko, I pot this I win and you have to buy me all my drinks all night!" Nicky nodded, knowing fully well what would happen. He happened to glance over at Mark and give him a wink, Mark nodded in reply. Just as Kian went to take his wining shot Mark slapped him on the back "You nearly done there mate" The ball went flying off the table and into a group of girls. "You idiot, I woukd have won that!" His rant fell on deaf ears, however, as Mark had cracked up with laughter.
Still muttering under his breath Kian went to get the ball back. He walked over to the group of girls and stopped short. He knew one of them! Kian had stoped as he recognize the girl. He hoped that she woudn't regonize him. But she did. "Oh hi Ki! It was a long time since last" she sayed. "Yes I know, Tyra. It was a time since last." answerd Kian. "Hey Kian! When are you coming with the ball?" Shoted Nicky. "Well, Tyra. My mates are calling so I must go." "Don't sneak away like that Ki! You owned me a dinner, remember?" But Kian goes back to the table with the ball. Mark lifted his eyebrown and asked who she was. "Just an old love" says Kian and tries to start playing again, avoding the coversion. "No, tell me Kian. I'm curious!" says Mark. "Ok" "Her name is Tyra, I new her a long while back. Nothing really came of it, I said I'd take her out to dinner - I kind of stood her up." Kian explained cringing at the memory. "Oh not good," mark laughed, "she seemed pretty okay with you though." "Yeah she said I owe her dinner." Kian laughed lightly, thinking maybe he would take her out sometime. "Then take her out." Nicky nodded, joining in the conversation. "she's hot....but then again so are her mates." Nicky winked at the brown haired girl next to Tyra. "Leave it okay Nicky, that's her younger sister." Kian scolded. "I think I might go and ask her out for dinner." "Go Egan." Mark whooped as he walked his mate strolled away copnfidently....
Back at Cilcilla apartment, Shane open the door of his car "Madamn" he joked as he bowed. He looked at her with a tinkle in his eye. She laughed, the good old Filan charm, th ereason she feel in love with him in the first place. Taking his hand she allowed him to help her into the car. "So where are we head?" she asked. Shane merely smiled "Wait and see my dear, wait and see!"
Back at the pool place: Nicky walked forward to Tyras sister. She was talking with another girl when Nicky interupted her. "Hello, What's you name? You know you're looking nice" starts Nicky. The girl cast a angry look at him. "Why are you inerupting me? If you want to know my name is Jess and I'm not inressted. I'm all up in Shane." she says angrly. "Sorry, for interupting." says Nicky blushing. "Just leave me alone." Nicky turn arounds and walks back. Mark gives him a pad on the shoulder and Kian grins. "Why do Shane got all the nice girls?" says Nicky. "And taking about that" says Kian and look at the entrance when Louis comes in. "Why are you here? I thought we should eat dinner at '7 stars'? says Louis sharply. "Wasn't that tomorrow?" asks Mark. "No. Let's go now." The lads takes up their stuff and follows Louis to the limo. They're all blusing bacuse of that they fogot about the dinner. While the rest of the band were heading off to Louis dinner, Shane had other plans! Still driving he reahed over and put the CD player in the car on. Billy Myers "Kiss The Rain" came on. Cicilla smiled it was her and Shanes song, for when he went away. "Come on babe where are we going?" she pouted. Once again Shane just smiled. They continued on for a while just listening to the song, when eventually Shane pulled the car over to the side of the road. "Right we're here!" Cilcilla looked round "Where is here exactly?" They were in th emiddle of nowhere. Shane got out of the car and went over to her door "My lady" he held out his hand. Sighing know there was no point in arguing she took it. "Shane what are we doing in the middle of no-where?" Cicilia asked not looking very impressed. Shane smiled at her and pointed up to the top of a near-by hill. "Our castle awaits" he winked at her. "You're expecting me to walk up there in these shoes?!" Cicilia shrieked not looking at all impressed. "No!" Shane laughed lightly "Of course not!" Although he didnt sound too convincing.
*at the restaurant*
As the rest of the lads arrived with Louis they were desperately trying to remember what it was they were meeting for...tour discussions? newest album? Were they really meant to be here tonight? It wasn't like them all to forget! As they entered the restaurant they were shocked to see Michael Jackson sat at the table waiting for them! "Oh my god." Mark whispered to the lads. "I know." Kian beamed, "Where the hell is Filan though - he'll be gutted if he misses this." As if reading Kian's mind Louis pulled out his phone and to ring Shane.
Elsewhere "Arrrrgh" Cicilia squealed as Shane scooped her off the ground and began to carry her up the fill. *Bring Bring* *It's vibrating against me." She giggled, as his phone vibrated against her leg. "I can't answer it...my hands are full. Can you get it?" Shane asked... "hello shane" "hiya its cecilia" "is shane there we reallt need to tell him something" "hiya wat do tiyus want?2 asked shane 2Well shane we have a suprise we need you to get down to the resturaunt straight away" replied nicky "well im kind of busy at the minute though lads" replied shane "but shane Michael Jackson is here" shouted the lads Then the phone went dead .......... At the resturant Louis was confused. He looked at the phone. The battery was dead. "I hope he got the msg, says Louis half to himself" The lads have gone forward and started to talk to Michael Jackson. After a moment a waiter asked them what they should eat. "Did you got a suprise, lads?" asks Louis with a smile. "Very surprised" answers Kian. "Poor Shane who's missing this." says Nicky.
*In the middle of nowhere* Shane is splited. Should he continue with this romantic trip or should he return to '7 stars' and met Michael Jackson. "What are you thinking of?" asks Cicilia. "Of you." "You're so sweet. But what are you thinking of really?" "That I'm going to miss a dinner with Micael Jackson.." "That Jackson? I love his songs. Can we go?" "Yes, sure" says Shane a bit confused. Shane carred Cicilia back to the car, slightly upset that his romantic night with her had been ruined but excited about meeting his idol. "I'm so excited." Celilia beamed, "How did you not know about this?" "Louis said we had some meal to go to, but I just thought it was going to be another one of those pointless ones where he pretens to discus the next single or album with us. But doesn't actually listen to a word we say." Shane moaned, "If I knew what his plan was I would have been there from the start."
The Restaurant "Is that Shane's car?" Nicky asked, pointed out the window. "Yeah." Kian laughed, as they watched Shane being dragged into the building by Celilia his car dumped on the side of the street. Shane opened the door to the restaurant just as Mark called across the room "About time Filan now get your ass over here!" Michael and the other lads laughed, but Louis looked like thunder. "Mark keep your voice down! Thats no way to talk to Shane!" he growled. Shane had reached the table by this staged and gave Mark a playful slap around the back of the head "No worries Louis I can control him! Hope no one minds if Cilcila joins us?" He didn't wait for an answer but pulled out a chair for her. "Ok lets talk!"
Throughout dinner Michael, the lads and Cilcila chatted about music and life, none of them noticing how impatient Louis was getting. Finially as the tea and coffee was being severed Louis turned the converstation around to business. "Ok, lads lets get to bussines." says Louis. The lads groan, they didin't looked forward to this. It had been a lot of dinners like this before. Micael had to go so he thanked them for the dinner. When Micael has leave Nicky said: "Must we've this coversion everytime we met?" "Ofcourse, it's time to relase a new album, says Louis." "Ok." says Nicky sounding to giveing up. So they started to talk about the new album. Kian tryed to convince Louis to let the lads themself write some songs too. Louis was very avoding. "It's up to the record company not me." "I'm a little tired to always do covers. We've relased "The Love Album", which we really wanted to do, but now it's time for some new stuff," says Shane. The conversetion continude like that and in the end Louis muttred that he'll talk to BMG next time they meets. The lads cheered and went home. At home Kian found a pice of paper in his pocket. It was from Tyra. "Can we met eachother tomorrow at the café 'Coffe time' at 9:00 AM? I'll be waiting for you, Ki. Kisses from Tyra". Kian wondered what Tyra wanted, he still fancied her but he knew he had blown it big time the last time they dated. Strolling into the coffee shop he noticed her in the far corner. "Am I late?" "No, I was a bit early." She smiled, "I ordered you a coffee." "Thanks," he smiled pulling out a chair opposite her. "did you sugar it." "Two just like you like .. see I remember Ki." She smiled proudly. They chatted for about an hour, about nothing in particular. "Look Tyra, I have to go and meet the lads in half an hour." Kian sighedm glancing at his watch.

awww jake u've posted our joint fic all of us who wrote on this fic had alot of fun writing it we enjoyed writing this fic so jake,bighair and i decided we would write a 2nd joint fic on .com it's called lost in space

Yes it's. And now comes the slash element into the story.
Chapter 1: page 5 to 8
"That's okay...you still owe me dinner though Kian. I haven't forgotten." "How about I take you out tomorrow night?" Kian offered, wanting nothing more than to spend more time in her company. "Sure." They arranged a time and a place, and she promised to meet him there. They siad there goodbyes and Kian stood up to leave the restaurant. "And you better not stand me up this time." She called after him. "No way!" He called back waved lightly as he left the coffee shop to go and meet the other lads... Mark, Shane and Nicky were sitting in a room waiting for, well everyone! "Who would of guessed that I'd actually be one of the ones on time for a change?" laughed Mark. The other two lads laughed in agreement. "Where are the others?" groaned Nicky, "I wanted to get away early!" Shane gave him a nudge "Off to see the mrs?" he joked, Nicky blushed but didn't say anything. Mark sighed "I'm used to Simon never being on time, but I would have thought that Louis and Kian would have been here." Shane nodded in agreement.
The lads sat in silence for a bit, finally Nicky sighed "I'm bored!" Shane agreed "Come on Mark, think of some thing for us to do!" Mark though for a coulpe of minutes "Ok lads, lets play a game..." At the same time Louis is stuck in the trafic. He's not so glad. He pick up his phone and calls to the lads.
Shane, Nicky and Mark's playing a game when the phone rings. Shane answers: "Hello, it's Shane." "Hello Shane, it's Louis. Are the other lads there?" "Yes, everyone besides Kian. Do you know where he is?" "He should eat breakfast with a girl. I thought he would be back now?" "Nope." Shane says bye and hangs off the phone. Mark looks up and Nicky is very foucsed on the game. Mark raised his eyebrows and ask who it was. "It was Louis. He's stucked in traffic." Then he sighed "He don't know where Kian is for the moment." Nicky groans as he loses again to Mark. It goes a few minutes when Mark suddely says: "Where are they?" Then Louis and Simon comes in through the door. Simon sits down by the table. Louis takes a look around the room. Looking unpleased he picks up the phone and calls Kian. "Hi Kian! Where are you?" says Louis in the phone. with kian
When kian left tyra he had ment to go and met the rest of the lads, but if he as honest it was just to nice of a day to be stuck indoors "discussing" the lastest album. he knew full while that louis and simon would have already made all the plans. Sighing he walked along the street, what could he do?
He was thinking about heading back to the hotel and possibly take a few laps of the pool, when sweet child of mine came blaring out of his pocket. Looking at his phone he saw that it was Louis calling. "Busted" he groaned to himself.
"Louis hello! What can I do for you?" "kian where are you? YOu're suppose to be in a meeting! Even Mark is here of god sake!" In the background kian could hear mark protest and he laughed "Sorry Louis I'm on my way, there was a problem with the traffic!" He lied "Well just get here, we have something very important to discuss today!" and with that Louis hung up! Kian walk back to his car. He wonders what the important thing that Louis was talking about is. He drive through the roads and back to the place where the others are awaiting. "Hello lads!" Is the first thing he says when he comes in throygh the door. "You're late," says Louis angrly. "Now you're in trouble" says Simon. "What?" "We where suposed to be on our way since 2 hours back", says Nicky. "Chill down, Nicky. It's a beutiful day and Kian only got stucked in the trafic like Louis did", says Shane. "Yeah..", says Kian reluctanting. "Or was he?" says Mark and he winks. "Ok lads lets get moving. We've a gig in London tonight" says Louis. "I can't! I've promised Tyra to eat dinner with her tonight!" says Kian. "It had to be another evenning. We've a gig and a gig is a gig" says Louis an cuts off the conversetion. Kian looks at him with a look that says "Please?".
I wish he wouldn't give me that look, i mean why can't he just accept no as an answer. He can take Tyra out any night but we promised they'd do this gig tonight how can he be so selfish? we cannot let them down "Look Kian don't give me that look" snapped Louis "just ring Tyra and make it another evening we promised that you'd do this gig tonight we can't let them down". Though why didn't Louis understand he'd been letting Tyra down constantly. He got his phone out not ready for the stick he was gonna get "Look Tyra can we make it another evening please?" she didn't sound impressed "You're never going to get around to it are you?" she yelled, "look i tried to get Louis to let me go but we have a gig in London tonight and i'm not allowed to go" he explained, "Fine make it next Friday and if you let me down again then i never want to speak to you again" replied Tyra and hung up. He looked worried encase anything else came up that day. They then all set off to start their gig in London.
They sat on the bus and went to London. Shane sat and listen to his iPod. Nicky and Mark was playing a card game. Kian sat and stared out through the window. He was wondering if Tyra would leave him again. Nicky looked at him a bit confused. "Hey, hold on a bit Mark" he said. "How's it Kian? You're not looking too happy," Nicky asked Kian. "It's about Tyra. I'm leating her down again and I can't do a thing about it". "Don't worry. She'll not leave you. Look at me and Alexis." Kian didin't answerd. Nicky continuded to play with Mark when his phone rang. Who can it be? he thought. "Hello, it's Nicky Bryne" he answerd. "Nicky, where are you?" asked an upset voice. It was Alexis... "Oh, hey Alexis" says Nicky. "So where are you?" asks Alexis again. Alexis is a tall, blond girl, one year younger than Nicky. She's usally very balanced, but no one is perfect. Kian grins at Nicky. He knows that things're not going very well between them, but Nicky denine it. "I'm one my way to a gig. Why are you asking?" "Because you never tell me about anything. I didn't know that you was on your way to a gig," says Alexis suddenly calm, but sad. "I must have forgot. I'll make it up to you, baby. I promise." "You better will", says she and hangs off. Nicky sees Kians grin and gives him a angrly look. Kian stops grining and blushs insteed. "She's mad at you Nicky. Don't let her down", says Shane. "Yea, I known." They are driving into London. It's late but, many people is out on the streets. They can see banners like "Westlife Forever" and "Nicky, I love you!". Kian is wawing to the fans and so are Shane. Nicky is quiet. He's thinking of his situation. Soon they arrive to the club and get oot from the bus. They goes in and write some autographs before they goes backstage.
After 10 mins they goes up on stage and sing some songs. They are getting some aplauses(sp?) and goes backstage again. "That turned out good?" says Nicky. "Ofcourse it did. Everything we does turns out good" says Shane. "Well if you have the right type of shoes..." says Mark. Shane blush when he gots reminded of it. They where in Liverpool and should have a gig on a charity gale. First it looked great. the get up on stage and start to sing ona old Amazing. Thet sat on chairs and when they got up Shane stumbled and fall over beacuse of his shoes. They where worned out. The other lads cold hardly keep them from laughing.
They went back home and dicused their next album. "I think that "Back Home" is a great title," says Mark. "Me too" says Shane. Louis said that he have talked to the record company and they can start recording on Monday. After the show the lads went back to there hotel. Kian and Shane were sharing a room while Nicky and Mark were sleeping next door. As it was still early however they went down to the hotel bar to grab a drink.
After a couple of drinks the talk turned to their love lives. "I really like her" groaned Kian "but I can never seem to organise meeting with her. No wait thats not true, the organising bit I can do, its the actual meeting bit I seem to be struggling with!" He sighed "Shane how do I make this work with Tyra? I mean you and cicilia have made it work." Shane grinned at Kian "Yup, me and my baby are getting on great! God I love her, I miss her, I hould phone her!" Nicky (who hadn't had quite as much to drink as Shane) stopped him "She will ot be pleased if you wake her you know. Now Alexis she would be mad!" Kian, Shane and Nicky giggled. None of them noticed Mark sitting quietly in the corner. He sighed loudly "I'm off to bed" He got up and left ignoring the other lads protests.
After he left the other lads looked at each other confused. "He's been acting weird recently" commented Nicky. Shane nodded "Yeah he seems really distracted, not himself." They sat there thinking about it for a while. "Right!" Kian said, "Lets find out whats up with our friend!"
Shane, Nicky and Kian got up and knocked on the door to Mark and Nicky's room. "What's it?" Mark asked drowsly. "What's it with you, pal?" Kian asked. "Yea, you have seamed so preoccupied" Nicky said. "Well, it's not a big deal really" Mark answerd. "C'mon now" Shane said. Mark told them that he has met someone but, he don't know how to talk to him. Mark is a bit unsure about this person. "Hey, we can help you" Kian said. "Yeah, what do you else have mates for?" Nicky said. "So what's his name?" Shane asked. Kian, Nicky and Shane all sat on Nicky's bed while Mark told them everything. He was really nervous and looked down the whole time, he was also a bright shade of red. The lads understood Marks embarrassment. He had only just told them he was gay and still was unsure of their feelings towards the news, despite the fact that they had reassured him that they were fine with it.
"Well i meet him a couple of weeks ago, backstage at a show. I fell for him straight away, but I know that it won't happen!" Mark sighed. He looked so sad that Nicky went over to him and gavehim a big hug. "Now what makes you say that Mister? Any bloke would be lucky to have you!" Kian and Shane nodded in agreement "Yeah they would so come on whats his name? Tell us and we'll get him to go out with you!" Shane said, then promptly burst out laughing at the look pure horror on Marks face. "You can't do that!! Oh my God! Would you do that?" All the lads were in stitches by this stage "Breathe Mark its ok! We wouldn't do that to you!" Nicky patted him on the arm, "So come on spill, whats his name?" Mark out his head in his hands and mumbled an answer. Kian, Shane and Nicky looked at each other, none of them had a clue what he had said. "Umm could you repeat that please?" Kian asked. Mark turned an even brighter shade of red "Kevin"
A silence followed these words. Shane stared at Mark "Kevin? As in the Kevin who is currently dating my little sister?" Mark blushed and nodded. Shane was a bit puzzled but, he got himself on the road again. "Are you serious?" asked Nicky and breaked the tough silence. Mark nodded again. Shane looked at Nicky and he looked at Kian who was looking at Mark. "How should we solve this mess? thought Shane". "Don't look at me like that. It makes me feel like a freak" said Mark. "Oh, sorry mate. I think that we all are a bit "taked on the bed" about this," said Kian. "I know. It must be a big suprise," said Mark and blushed again. "No. Kevin are kind and he looks good. That's why she choosed him. It's complexed dough. Because he's dating her for the moment" said Shane and smiled for himself. Mark laughed for the first time today. Kian gave him a pad on the shoulder. Nicky sugested that Mark should talk to Kevin but, Mark shaked on his head. "Don't be shy. You're a Westlifer. We are not shy," said Shane and grined. "But wait! Didin't Alexis said that Rose and Kevin are having some problems?" asked Kian to Nicky. "Yes, Alexis and Rose (Shanes sister) are good friends. I'll talk to her, if it's ok for you?" said Nicky. Mark nodded and looked at the clock. He told them that's she was over 11'o clock. "D**n! We must go to bed now" said Kian. "I'll talk to alexis tomorrow" annonced Nicky "Buy her some candy first. Don't you remember that she is angry at you?" said Kian. Nicky nodded and they got to sleep. Shane and Kian headed into their room. Shane was shaking his head. "Trust Mark to fall for Kevin. What will I do? How will I tell Rose?" Kian patted him on the arm, "It may never... [TBC]

...come to anything, its just Mark being Mark. I mean if KEvin is dating your sister I am sure he would have no feelings towards Mark at all. Even if him and Rose are having trouble." Shane sighed and nodded "Yeah you are right, but I think I'll ohone her in the morning anyway just to see how things are. Maybe Alexis can tell us more as well."
The next morning Shane was on the phone to Rose and Nicky was on the phone to Alexis. Kian and Mark were sitting eating breakfast, neither of them saying much. Eventually Kian looked over at Mark, "You alright, you look tired." Mark smiled "Ah I am grand, hows you?" Kain nodded "Yup its all good." They both looked at each other and laughed. "Sorry about last night, I know that it must have been way awkward for you all, but I really needed to talk to someone." Kian laughed "Ah know bother, thats what friends are for sure. It was a bit of a shock for poor Shane though, you maybe shouldn't have said in front of him." Mark nodded "I know, I really had no intention of telling him, I mean its just a stupid crush, he's dating Rose, and so wouldn't look twice at me, I mean he's straight."
Louis walked over to the table just then. "Right where are the other two, we have a busy day ahead." Mark groaned and rolled his eyes causing Kian to burst out laughing. "They are both on the phone and will be over in a minute. Oh and I am going on a date tonight and I don't care what you say." "Alright then. Ofcourse you can go on your date." said Louis. "Great. Then I don't have so sneak away from something important" said Kian which caused both Mark and Louis to start laughing.
********** With Shane:
Shane was in his room and tried to reach his sister Rose but, she didin't answerd. He got worried and called his mom. "Filian resident, it's Marie speaking," answerd she. "Hey mom! It's Shane" said Shane. "Hi Shane! Why are you calling?" "I tries to reach Rose but, she dosen't answers." "Oh. She can't answer 'cos she is at the hospital." Shane almost drop the phone because he got so shocked. He can't nearly speak for a few seconds. His mom asked if he was still there. "I'm here. What happend?" Shane asked. "She and Kevin was driving back to Sligo from Dublin when they crashed into another car. It was driving on the wrong side of the road. Maybe the other driver thought it was left-trafic" she said and gave up a bitter laugh. "I want to see her. I'll go and pack my bags." "I think that she would like to see you too. But isin't you in London?" "Don't worry I'll come" Shane said. They taked goodbye and he hunged off. "I must talk with Louis" thought Shane.
********** With Nicky:
Nicky had just talked with Alexis and he promised to bring her some chocolad. Alexis said that Rose is very sad 'cos it seamed like Kevin no longer cares about her. He's very preocupied when they are together. Alexis also thought that it's just a matter of time before it's over between them. She's also curious why he's asking her about it. Then Nicky changed the subject and they hunged off.
He goes down to the other lads and immeditely he felt that something was going on and he turned to Shane. He looked a bit stressed and worried. "How are you?" asked Nicky. "Not good. My sister have been in a car accident. I must visit her at the hospital" answerd Shane. "Aww... poor you" said Nicky and gave him a pad on the shoulder. In Hospital Shane sat beside Rose's bed. She was asleep. The Doctors said that she would be ok, that she would be discharged in the morning, but still he was worried. He has always been protective of his little sister, which was one of the reasons why this whole thing with Mark was such a big problem. He sighed. "You alright?" A voice behind him startled him. He turned to see a bruised and battered Kevin standing in the door way, his arm was in a cast. "Better than you by the looks of it" Kevin laughed "I'll live, just a tad sore." Kevin walked in and sat on the other side of the bed. Shane watched him carefully. Even though he sat beside Rose and took her hand, he look uncomfortable doing it.
Kevin sighed and rubbed his eyes. His mind was racing. Rose and him hadn't been getting on as well recently. THey were always fighting and bickering. Kevin didn't like the way things were going between them, but he couldn't help it. He had been distracted lately. He had met someone else. Not that anything had happened, or problably would happen, but he couldn't get them out of his head. He sighed and rubbed his eyes again. Things could get very messy if he wasn't careful.
An awkward silence fell between the two boys. Shane was trying to figure Kevin out, and Kevin was pretty sure that Shane had been told of the problems between him and Rose. The silence was broken by Shane's ohone going off. He looked at the caller ID- it was Mark. The perfect chance to see how Kevin reacted, he thought to himself.
"Hey Mark whats up?" Kevin twitched and looked up with a puzzled look. Shane didin't know where he had him. In the other line Mark answerd: "I'm fine and you?". Shane told Mark that he was at the hospital by Rose's side. They chated a bit before Shane hunged up. "Do you know Mark?" asked Kevin curiosly. "Yes, we have know eachother since preschool" answerd Shane. "Okay" said Kevin and glanced back at Rose. "How do you know Mark?" asked Shane. Kevin twitched again an looked shyly on Shane. "I met him some weeks ago at a club" answerd Kevin. Shane raised his eybrown witch caused Kevin to blush. Shane thought that it must have happend by the same time that Mark started to betend(sp?) strange.
With Mark: Mark sat in his hotel room on the bed. He is worried for Rose. He knows that Shane is very caring about his sister. Also many questions flow by in his mind and he tried to sort them out.
Someone knocked on his door and Mark said: "C'mon in!" It's Nicky and he asked how it's with Mark. He answerd that he is fine. "I've talked to Alexis now... "Did you bought her chocolad?" interupted Mark. "Yes, I did. Anyway she said that Rose and Kevin has some problems". They got interupted by Nicky's cell phone. On the screen it stands Shane calling . "Hello man, how's it going?" answerd Nicky. "It's fine. Btw I need to tell you and Mark something..." Nicky was immediatly worried "Is everything ok? Is Rose Ok?" Beside him Mark looked worried. "Yeah Rose is grand, she's getting out tomorrow. Its about Kian actually." Nicky frowned "Kian?? Whats wrong with him?" Mark gave Nicky a puzzled looked "Whats happening?" he mouthed to Nicky. "Well I was talking to him and he's not happy. He thinks Louis is taking over our lives far too much. I have to admit I agree. I mean he has had to cancal on Tyra so many times, she's thinking of giving up in him, Nicky Alexis is annoyed at you because you jump whenever Louis tells you too, and MArk well he has to hide the fact he's gay because if Louis finds out he'll be kicked out ofthe band!"
In the hotel room Nicky sighed "You're right, I know you are but what are we going to do about it? I'll tell you in a minute!!" "Tell me what in a minute Nicky?" asked a very puzzled Shane. Nicky laughed "No, not you Mark! He's sitting beside me, I think we have him worried!" Nicky picked up a pilloew and whacked Mark "Be patient will you? Don't worry, Kian is fine, everyone is fine!"
Shane laughed at the arguement going on atthe other end of the phone. He dandered back towards Rose's room, he had left to make the phone call. He looked in through the window, Kevin was still sitting there. Shane grinned, he felt like stirring things up at bit. He spoke loudly into the phone so Kevin could hear him "Oh Nicky, tell Mark I'm sitting here with with his new friend!!" Kevin looked up. He wanted to talk to Mark but, he couldn't find the courage to it. "I must be here for Rose. Stop thinking about Mark you fool! Rose, Mark, Rose, Mark..." Kevin thought. Shane watched Kevin closely. He saw that Kevin was very puzzled. "He must have some feelings for Mark. Why should he otherwize reacting like this?" Shane thought. Suddenly Rose started to move. She opend her eyes. Shane ran to her and smiled to her. "Hello sis. How are you feeling?" asked Shane. Kevin looked at her and a small smile spread aross his face. "Hi Shane and Kevin. I'm fine," said Rose. "The doctor says that you can come home tomorrow" said Kevin. Then Shane and Rose parents showed up. They had been very worried but, now they're glad that she's fine. Kevin goes out to have a smoke and Shane followed him. "So how are you feeling?" asked Shane. "I'm fine, thanks" said Kevin. "How's it between you and Mark?" Kevin stared at him. Shane winked to him. "No mean to be hinding anymore I think. I love him even more than I love Rose. You're not mad at me?" asked Kevin shyly. "Go and tell him. He loves you too." said Shane.
****** With Mark and Nicky: Nicky and Mark talked to Louis. They're not so glad with that they always must do as he says. "It's not okay you know, we have right to a own life outside Westlife" said Nicky. "Don't be so upset. We have things that we have to do. When you have done those things you can go and have your own life. I'm not always a though manager. I'm a lovely husband too" said Louis. "What do you think of homosexuality?" asked Mark. "It's nothing wrong with it. You should know that?" asked Louis with a smile. "What? Do you know that I'm gay?" "I've knowed it for years and I think it's totally fine" "No hard feelings, right?" said Nicky. "No problems. Did you thought that I should kick him out of the band just because he's gay? You can be a bit stupid sometimes" said Louis and laughed.
Then Nicky's phone rang. On the screen it stood: Alexis calling . "Hey darling!" said Nicky. "One of my friends told me that you're running around with younger girls. Mr Bryne are you cheating on me?`" asked Alexis... Nicky stared at the phone in his hand "Your kidding me right? I would never cheat on you I love you!" Alexis wasn't so sure "So who was that girl that the pool hall you were seen with?" "Waht girl, ohhh" It suddenly dawned on Nicky "You mean Jess, thats Tyra's little sister! Don't worry she preferres Shane!!" On the other end of the phone Alexis sighed "Right ok, sorry! But you can see why it looks bad? Make sure it doesn't happen again! Right have to go Love you!" With that she hung up. Nicky looked up at Mark and Louis who were watching him "She's a bit mental that one" The three of them laughed. Nicky and Mark were about to leave when Louis stopped them "Mark can I have a word with you please?"
Elsewhere Kian was finally enjoying his date with Tyra- it still haddn't ended from the day before! "I still can't believe we fell asleep in the cinema" giggled Tyra. Kian laughed as well "What I can't believe is that no-one noticed until this morning!! We were in there all night!" The two of them were laughing so hardthey were attracting strange looks from passers by "Come on I'll take you for breakfast" said Kian and he grabbed Tyra's hand and dragged her into a restaurant. They had just settled down to there meal when Kians phone rang, "nicky" was flashing on the ID "This had better be good Byrne, I'm entertaining a lady!" Nicky sounded upset and annoyed down the phone "Yeah its good, we have a problem! Westlife could be finished! You'll never believe what Louis has just done to Mark!" "What have Louis done? asked Kian worried. "I'll tell you the story now...
"Mark can I have a word with you please? asked Louis. Mark turned around. He and Nicky was just on their way to leave. "Yes?" asked Mark. Nicky was now getting a bit worried. It didn't felt good. "If you come out as gay I think we'll lose many fans. So I would prefer if you could hold those feelings back to yourself." "What!? If I can't be true to myself how can I be true to the fans then?" shouted Mark. "Calm down now, please" said Nicky. "No! I'm going back to Sligo now and I won't do any Westlife related stuff until it's okay for me to come out," said Mark and leaved. Louis and Nicky stared chocked after him.
Kian couldn't belive this. A Westlife without Mark? It can't be! He promised to come around so that the three of them could talk this through. He and Tyra continuded to eat but, they didin't talked about anything. Later on he said godbye to her and they walked off into diffrent...

Chapter 1: page 13 to 14
...directions. Kian walked to his car and drove back to the hotel. They must get Mark or Louis to change their mind or else...
a few days later mark and kevin went out for a meal to talk, kevin suddenly looked up and said "mark i know we have only known each other for a few days, but i need to confess that i am getting very strong feelings for you, but i need to end things with rose before we can start anything."
mark then looked up and said "ok kevin i understand, kevin you do realise that my place in westlife is under threat because of louis being pig headed?." Kevin said "i know mark and we will sort that out some how you are going to have to be strong."
a few minutes later kevin's mobile rang and he looked at the display and saw it was rose calling he lifted the flip on his phone and said "hi rose, i need to tell you something and you are not going to like it. Mark looked up at Kevin and gestered to him. Kevin looked back at him puzzled "Don't!" Mark mouthed. Kevin shook his head "I have!" to he mouthed back. "Look Rose I love you, but I'm in love with someone else! A bloke actually!" Silence greated him on the other line "You're gay!" She shouted "What the hell Kevin?!" She was mad "I bet I know who it is too, you've been acting all strange since you met him! Does my brother know you fancy his band mate?" In the restaurant Kevin paled- how did she know, this wasn't good! "Rose, please calm down getting upset will not change things! You can't say anything!" On the other end of the phone Rose laughed "Of course! His fans won't like this one bit, well he took you away from me, so I'll take them away from him!" With that she hung up the phone.
Kevin stared at Mark across the table. "Kevin what is it? You ok?" MArk voiced his concern. Kevin didn't answer, instead he grabbed his coat and left, dialing a nuber on his mobile as he went
Shane, Kian and Nicky were sitting in a bar, having a meeting. "Look we just have to make them see sense! I'm sure Mark will calm down and come back, and then we can work on Louis!" Kian was saying. Nicky shook his head "You didn't see him he was really upset and angry at Louis- I don't think he will come back!" Shane sighed, what were they going to do. The conversation was interupted by his mobile "Shane, Rose knows, I'm sorry I told her!" A paniced Kevin stammered over the line. Shane sat bolt upright "What do you mean you told her? Please say you did not mention him?" "Of course I didn't mention him! But she guessed! I think she is going to tell the papers!" Shane then said "kevin just calm down, i will speak to rose in a few minutes and i will stop her from doing anything silly, even though she is my sister i will not let her ruin my best friend's career." Shane and Kevin then said "bye" and hung up.
Shane the got up from the table and said "sorry you lot, i have to go, Kevin has just phoned me and said Rose knows about him and Mark, i need to speak 2 my sister and stop her doing anything silly and anything she might regert later."
Shane then grabbed his jacket and walked out of the restaurant and got into his car and drove off leaving the others stood speechless in the restaurant door way. A short time later Shane arrived home and found Rose in tears, he said "hey sis, we won't have any tears, i'm sorry that things didn't turn out right between you and kevin."
Shane then said "please do not drag Mark's name through the mud, he has enough to deal with, what with Louis threatening his place in the band."
Rose then looked at her brother and said "Shane i don't want to hurt Mark, i am just hurt and betrayed by what Kevin has done."
Rose then said "Shane, i know you can't help who you fall in love with, but i really loved Kevin, there is something you need to know, I'm pregnant."
Shane looked at his sister in a stunned silence and said "oh my god this whole bloody mess is just getting worse by the minute."
Shane then pulled his sister to him and hugged her tightly, he gently stroked her hair while she cried on him. Couple of months later
Nicky was sitting at home with his wife Alexis. He sighed and rubbed his head, life was too hard at the moment he wished everything could just go back to the way it was. Alexis hugged him and ran her fingers through his hair. "Don't worry babe, everything will turn out ok, you'll see!" He pulled her close and put his head on her shoulder "I don't know, I really don't see how it can! I mean Mark still isn't talking to Louis, Shane can barely look at Mark and well Kian and I just feel stuck in the middle!" Alexis pulled away from Nicky and gave him a stern look "You have never been a quitter Nicky so why start now? Stick by your friends! They are going through a hard time, thats all!" Nicky nodded and sighed "Yeah you're right, I'm going to phone Kian and we can get this whole thing sorted!"
Kian was sitting in his house with Tyra. Things between them had gone from strength to strength since Westlife's unplanned break. They were sitting watching Strictly Come Dancing (Kian would much rather have been watching the X factor but he did get much of a say in the matter!" Kenny had just finished his dance and yet again was being slated by the Judges. Tyra looked over at Kian, he looked stressed, he was upset by the problems in Westlife, but wouldn't say much. She muted the TV. "Talk to me hunny! I know you're upset, you need to talk to someone!" Kian looked over and smiled "I know I just don't want to put all my problems on you!" She moved over beside him "Thats what I'm here for." He held her close and sighed "I just want things fixed. I mean things kinda went from bad to worse after Rose announced she was pregnant. Shane turned on Mark, quietly resenting him for the problems between Kevin and Rose. Kevin broke Marks heart and his own I think, to stand by Rose and 'Do the right thing'. Mark has just disappeared after the story broke, and well all Louis can care about is the band! The whole thing is just a mess!" Tyra stroked his head "It'll all turn out ok, you'll see!"
Shane, Cicilia, Rose and Kevin were sitting in a posh restaurant in Sligo. No one was saying much. The waiter arrived with their dinners, gave the group a puzzled look and left again. Rose sighed, and attempted a conversation "We had ascan today! We didn't want to know if it was a boy or a girl, but its doing fine! Isn't Kevin?" Kevin gave a small smile and a nod "Yeah the Doctor said thats it healthy, but that Rose still should take any risks." Cicilia nodded "Yeah you can't be too careful with these things." The conversation drew to a close and an awkward silence filled the table. Shane therw down his knife and fork, "I'll be back in a minute, I need some air" He went outside and leaned aginst a wall. The last few months had...
